Nursing Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Associate to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the ongoing assessment, planning, and delivery of care in line with service pathways and professional standards.
About the RoleThe Nursing Associate will work collaboratively with the multi-professional team and Registered Nurses to provide holistic and person-centered care to patients of all ages and in various settings. You will be responsible for monitoring the condition and health needs of patients, providing complex and sensitive information, and working independently under the leadership of Registered Nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the sphere of responsibility.
- Ensure all patients receive high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrate an extensive knowledge base of practice in relation to Day Surgery.
- Assist in the management and organization of work in the clinical area.
- Act in a manner consistent with the NMC Code, carrying out duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
- Provide evidence-based nursing care by providing expert clinical assessment, care planning, care delivery, care evaluation, and clinical advice in accordance with NMC Code.
- Ensure all records relating to patient care are accurate, clear, concise, legible, and in accordance with the NMC.
- Actively assess and manage risk within the clinical area.
- Ensure adherence to the Trust Medicines Policy and the NMC Standards for medicines management.
- Participate in the teaching and supervision of other members of staff under the direction of the Team Leader.
- Support the Clinical Governance systems to deliver high-quality care.
