Pharmacy Technician in Primary Care

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to work in our Primary Care Pharmacotherapy Service. The successful candidate will have effective interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, as well as the ability to work with a range of clinical and non-clinical personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide pharmaceutical care services to patients in GP practices, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
- To work closely with hospital and community pharmacy colleagues, as well as care homes, to achieve shared goals.
- To develop and maintain strong relationships with practice teams, including GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- To participate in training and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a qualified Pharmacy Technician.
- Ability to travel throughout the area of service delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.
