Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Practice Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at North Health & Social Care Partnership in Ayrshire. As a key member of our primary care pharmacy team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of safe, clinically effective and cost-effective prescribing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical audit and patient-facing medication reviews to promote high-quality prescribing and reduce costs.
  • Offer expert advice on prescribing and medicines use in various therapeutic areas and clinical settings.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure successful implementation of NHS Ayrshire & Arran prescribing strategies and policies.

Requirements:

  • Masters of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain with evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Vocational Training (Level 2) or equivalent training experience.
