NHS Lothian's Pharmacy & Medicines Service aims to deliver clinically led, person-centred services ensuring patients get the best from their medicines and pharmacy services. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work with Lead Pharmacists for Community Pharmacy Development, supporting community pharmacy contractors across NHS Lothian to deliver the pharmacy contract and develop other pharmaceutical care services.

You will play a key role in supporting education and training, data analysis, and service evaluation, linking in with the wider healthcare and management teams. Your excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills will enable you to work autonomously and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will possess an HNC in Pharmacy Services Development and Management or equivalent skills and experience, along with current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Experience of working in Community Pharmacy or Primary Care is an advantage.

NHS Lothian covers Edinburgh city, East Lothian, Midlothian, and West Lothian, serving a population of 900,000 with a range of primary, community-based, and acute hospital services. Public holiday working may be required.
