Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Chef Manager to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a Mobile Chef Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services in schools across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Coaching
    • Lead and coach a team of kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and service
    • Develop and implement effective coaching and training programs to enhance team performance
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of kitchen facilities and equipment
    • Implement and maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to students, teachers, and other stakeholders
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with school staff and parents
  • Business Development
    • Identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue
    • Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with kitchen operations

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or education setting
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • High standards of personal hygiene and food safety
  • Education
    • Relevant qualifications in food safety, health and safety, or a related field
