Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Chef Manager to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a Mobile Chef Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services in schools across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Deliver operational excellence through the execution of our 'what good looks like' guidelines, ensuring high standards of quality work and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coach a team of people to achieve our performance targets, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Customer Service: Liaise confidently with customers and clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Stock Management: Ensure stock, promotions, and merchandising comply with company procedures, maximizing sales and profits.
  • Health and Safety: Promote a safety culture, ensuring team members are aware of and operate in accordance with company and client Health & Safety procedures at all times.
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to the given area of responsibility, completing audits and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Flexibility: Work flexibly, attending meetings and training courses as required, and role-modeling the Chartwells Way behaviors at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience: An enthusiastic individual with experience working in a school meal environment, with a proven track record of leading and coaching a team of people.
  • Communication Skills: An outstanding communicator, able to liaise confidently with customers and clients, and lead, engage, and develop team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage their own time efficiently to deliver results.
  • IT Literacy: IT literate, with the ability to work with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Skype.
  • Manual Duties: Able to undertake a range of manual duties, with high standards of personal hygiene.
  • Adaptability: Self-motivated and able to adapt to a changing environment.
