Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electronics Test Specialist to join our team at MassHire Lowell Career Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in the test, tune, and troubleshoot of RF Microwave Hybrid assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs test, tune, and troubleshoot of mid-range to highly complex military RF microwave hybrid assemblies.
  • Tests units over temperature, during vibration, and mechanical shock as well as putting units into burn-in ovens.
  • Uses state of the art standard, specialized, manual, and automated test equipment to specifications outlined in specific module performance specifications and acceptance test procedures.
  • Collaborates with RF Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot product to specifications.
  • Performs a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the test, tune, and troubleshoot of RF Microwave Hybrid assemblies.
  • Familiarity with RF equipment: RF Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzers/Low Noise Analysis, Signal Analyzer, Oscilloscope, RF Power Meters, Client Network Analyzers.
  • Ability to work under a microscope as required to test, tune, and troubleshoot RF microwave hybrid assemblies and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar tools.
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings.
  • Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities.
