Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Electronics Specialist to join our team at Endeavour Recruitment Solutions. The successful candidate will have expertise in high voltage power electronics and a strong background in electronic engineering.

About the Role

This is a 12-month contract paying an estimated £65,000 - 85,000 per annum. As a High Voltage Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing high voltage assemblies and systems for various industries, including military, industrial microwave, and medical.

You will work closely with our team to gather requirements, design and develop high voltage assemblies and systems, and ensure that they meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing high voltage assemblies and systems
  • Gathering requirements for high voltage assemblies and systems
  • Ensuring designs are suitable for customer-specified operating conditions and regulatory compliance
  • Affording expertise to ensure products are designed for manufacture
  • Developing test hardware and procedures to rigorously prove correct operation of hardware prior to system integration
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in design of high voltage power electronics
  • Test and commissioning of high voltage systems and use of electrical, electronic, and microwave test and measurement equipment
  • Understanding of industry-standard schematic capture and electronic simulation tools
  • Expertise with HV PCB design techniques using CADSTAR software
  • Experience in designing products to operate within a high noise environment
  • A good understanding of industrial compliance requirements, including legislative, EMC/EMI & environmental testing, as well as knowledge of EN61010 and Medical device standards
