Job Summary:

CBSbutler is seeking an experienced Electronics Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Chelmsford, Essex.

About the Role:

  • As an Electronics Maintenance Specialist at CBSbutler, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment.
  • You will provide technical support to shift equipment engineers covering all areas of silicon wafer processing equipment, package and test.
  • The successful candidate will lead and participate in equipment installations, improvements, and solve underlying equipment issues.
  • You will work hands on with gases, chemicals, robotics, vacuum, electrical, and electronics.
  • We require someone who can manage their own time and workload efficiently, work effectively with a great team, and solve problems.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in electronics and experience in multidisciplinary roles is essential.
  • HNC in electronics or a related field is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently.
  • You should be willing to wear Self-contained Breathing apparatus after medical and training, and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • We prefer non-smokers who do not wear make up and do not smoke 4 hours before entering the cleanroom.

  • As an Electronics Maintenance Specialist, you will respond rapidly to equipment issues, provide timely repairs, and clear progress updates.
  • You will lead cross-functional teams, record actions and minutes of meetings, and produce risk assessments for all equipment.
