Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Test Engineer to join our team at Reed Specialist Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in complex PCB Assembly and testing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding to component level on various products, including analogue and digital circuits. They will also test assembled printed circuit boards to functional test specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret schematic and circuit drawings to ensure accurate testing.
  • Create and maintain test specifications and procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing results.
  • Desirable skills include experience with ICT (In-Circuit Test) and XJTAG.
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW is advantageous.
  • Understanding of quality standards and build practices, including IPC and 5S.

Requirements:

  • HNC in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

Working Conditions:

  • Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, Day shift (37.5 hours per week).
  • Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays.
  • Pension scheme: Contributory pension scheme.
  • Onsite facilities: Onsite parking.

Educational Requirements:

  • HNC in Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification.
