Job Title: Japanese Speaking Shipping Data Officer

Your New Salary: up to 35,000 pounds.
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days in office/London. A flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-site work.

Contract Type: Permanent
Start: As soon as possible. We are looking for a candidate who can start immediately or shortly after the interview process.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours/week. Full-time employment with a standard working week.

Japanese Speaking Shipping Data Officer – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist in planning internal and external audits for vessel certifications. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Act as a secretary for the Managing Director. Provide administrative support and maintain accurate records.
  • Organise and maintain the company’s electronic filing system. Keep track of documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, circulars, reports, and presentations as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with vessels, office departments, and third parties regarding their Health and Safety activities. Foster strong relationships and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Support health, safety, environmental, and quality management tasks. Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Attend training, seminars, and management meetings as required. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Japanese Speaking Shipping Data Officer – The Skills You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Fluency in English and Japanese. Effective communication is key in this role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Maintain accuracy and efficiency in your work.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Prioritise your workload and meet targets.
  • Fully competent with Microsoft Office software. Proficient in using various applications and tools.
  • Proven experience in an administrative support role. Leverage your expertise to deliver results.
