Job Title: Shipping Operations Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team at Prax as a Shipping Operations Specialist. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in arranging shipments, managing logistics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to arrange shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Vet vessels and shipping lines to ensure they meet company standards and regulations.
  • Manage schedules, itineraries, and paperwork associated with shipping operations.
  • Monitor and control shipping costs, including freight, fuel, and insurance expenses.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve shipping efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on shipping activities, including documentation, invoices, and payment receipts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, logistics, or international trade.
  • At least 3+ years' experience in shipping operations, logistics, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum

Location: Office based in Marble Arch, London
