Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Systems Manager to join our team at Endeavour Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, delivery, and support of data analytics and Business Intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights for managing our business's performance.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
  • Support, develop, and manage data analytics and Business Intelligence tools and capabilities, including data visualization and self-serve reporting.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership on data visualization and self-serve reporting.
Business Intelligence Tools
  • Support, develop, and manage the company budgeting and forecasting tools, including IBM Planning Analytics.
  • Proactive engagement with stakeholders to understand and meet requirements with respect to these systems.
Reporting and Analytics
  • Scoping, developing, testing, and maintaining reports from our data warehouse.
  • Bridging between Finance, Data, and the business.
  • Coordinating with data providers to ensure efficient and timely reporting.
Team Leadership
  • Setting the team's programme of work and ensuring the quality of project artifacts.
  • Managing the BAU tickets related to these systems, ensuring that issues are resolved consistently and efficiently.
Business Systems Department Lead
  • Leading the evaluation and reconciliation of sales data and sales reporting processes with respect to acquisitions and divestments.

Requirements

  1. Proven industry experience with data engineering and business intelligence, data discovery, metric/dashboard definition or creation, and transforming data to meet business needs.
  2. Excellent communication skills, and an ability to work with senior management and also respond to user queries.
  3. Exposure to or experience with using SQL to design and create various types of data schemas for various needs.
  4. Experience with IBM suite (Planning Analytics and Cognos Analytics) or similar enterprise-level BI software.
