We're seeking a skilled Patient Access Officer to join our team at The Princess Grace Hospital. As a vital member of our Patient Access department, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to our patients.

Your responsibilities will include providing a comprehensive range of administrative services to consultants and other third parties, facilitating a seamless patient pathway, and promoting the successful management of all aspects needed to deliver a 5-star patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a friendly and professional greeting to patients and visitors.
  • Communicate efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on the hospital database during the patient journey.
  • Pre-register or register patients onto HCA databases.
  • Ensure all relevant patient documents are signed and scanned to the patient accounts.
  • Respond to telephone, written, and face-to-face queries.
  • Manage patient waiting areas to ensure a smooth patient experience.
  • Coordinate and facilitate patient bookings where applicable.

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience in a client/customer-facing role.
  • Excellent customer care skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office – Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
