About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Cancer Services Team at James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day supervision and management of the Multi-Disciplinary Team Co-ordinator (MDTC) / Patient Pathway Coordinator (PPC) team.

Your main focus will be on monitoring patient progress, co-ordinating the patient journey from referral through diagnostics, treatment planning, and treatment, highlighting any potential delays in the pathway promptly. You will also ensure accurate data collection on Somerset in accordance with local and national requirements.

You will work closely with the Cancer Analyst to accurately collect data on Somerset Cancer Register for submission upload and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all cancer targets and processes relating to cancer pathway management.
