About the Role

A great opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Manager to join a leading global organisation. As a result-focused and target-driven individual, you will be responsible for the teams' KPIs and delivery against business objectives.

You will focus on planned and unplanned maintenance processes, minimising unplanned stops using best practices in an efficient way. You will also establish a maintenance meeting to plan all maintenance-related activities and coach the organisation in all behaviours and tools in terms of maintenance.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure the optimal performance of our paper machines.
  • Manage and maintain the maintenance management information system, including technical databases and SAP.
  • Own the process of breakdown elimination and develop strategies for breakdown elimination and cost reduction.
  • Ensure the quality standards for maintenance and their efficiency, and own maintenance KPIs, such as budget and defect trend.
  • Develop a 5-year development plan on assets, including maintenance investments and sustainability plans.

Who You Are

  • A natural leader with a focus on developing and coaching your team.
  • Proven experience in a heavy industry, manufacturing, or process environment.
  • Understanding of schematic diagrams and technical drawings.
  • IT literate, with experience of using MS Office, SAP, or other maintenance management systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet key targets and deliver projects.
