Nursing Services Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Akari Care as a Deputy Director of Nursing. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to our residents.
About the RoleAs a Deputy Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained across our award-winning homes. You will be responsible for supporting the Director of Nursing in the delivery of our care services, including nursing and residential care, communication, budgetary and financial controls, and Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities•Lead by Example: You will set the tone for excellence in care delivery, inspiring and motivating your colleagues to achieve the highest standards.
•Support and Develop: You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement strategies to improve care quality, staff development, and resident satisfaction.
•Collaborate with Teams: You will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care services, including laundry, maintenance, and emergency response.
•Manage Resources: You will be responsible for managing budgets, financial controls, and Human Resources, ensuring that our resources are used efficiently and effectively.
•Ensure Compliance: You will ensure that all care services are delivered in line with regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
•Minimum Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care
•Experience of working within the healthcare sector
•Management/Leadership experience and qualification (desirable)
•NMC (Nursing and Midwifery) certificate with an active PIN
•Flexible and adaptable to changes at short notice
