Job Title: Deputy Nursing Home Manager


Job Overview:


We are searching for a talented and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager who is seeking an exciting opportunity within a luxury nursing home in Gosforth-Newcastle.


Job Responsibilities:


As a Deputy Manager for our luxury nursing home, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient running of the home. You will work in collaboration and harmony with the Home Manager and the wider multi-disciplined teams to deliver exceptional care and services to our residents.


Key Duties:



  • Provide leadership and direction to the home's staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
  • Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring that the home is a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
  • A caring nature with ability to give everyone a personal approach.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes at short notice.
  • Work well under pressure without negative impact to those around you.
  • Resilient and adaptable to differing needs of colleagues and residents

Requirements:


This role could be for you if you have:



  • Minimum Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care
  • Experience of working within health care sector
  • Management / Leadership experience (essential) and qualification (desirable)
  • Hold an NMC (Nursing and Midwifery) certificate with an active PIN - Essential
