Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Child Psychiatrist to join a vibrant multidisciplinary team in Devon, working into a number of pathways. The post will be based in North Devon but involve working with the consultant group across Devon providing strong medical leadership.

Main Duties of the Job

This is a 10PA community post based in North Devon. The service has a strong multidisciplinary ethos and successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to working flexibly with colleagues from other disciplines in an integrated way.

The appointee will be expected to provide psychiatric input to the multidisciplinary team, contributing to clinical and team management decisions and providing consultation to others. They will contribute to leading on the establishment of multi-disciplinary assessment clinics, providing high quality specialist mental health assessments of young people referred into the service.
