About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join our vibrant multidisciplinary team in North Devon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric input to the multidisciplinary team, contributing to clinical and team management decisions, and providing consultation to others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric input to the multidisciplinary team, contributing to clinical and team management decisions
  • Contribute to leading on the establishment of multi-disciplinary assessment clinics, providing high-quality specialist mental health assessments of young people referred into the service
  • Participate in on-call duties and join the regular peer group CPD forum
  • Support the development of the service, working closely with operational managers and other clinical leads
