Carer Empowerment Worker

**Role Overview:**
Hireful is a leading advocacy charity in the south Birmingham area, dedicated to empowering people with disabilities. As an Advocacy Support Worker, you will be part of a passionate team that makes a tangible difference in the lives of carers with learning disabilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support carers with learning disabilities in creating and implementing a timetable of speakers, workshops, and training sessions
- Provide one-on-one advocacy support to carers
- Assist carers in accessing resources and services
**Requirements:**
- Experience of working with people with learning disabilities or other vulnerable groups
- Ability to adapt communication depending on the needs of the person
- Excellent IT skills including using Microsoft Office packages
