Job Overview
Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking an Experienced Social Worker to join their Mental Health Team. This full-time position is based in County Hall, Worcestershire.
Salary Details
The salary for this permanent role is up to £39,186 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
- To work with adults who have complex or fluctuating needs and require intensive support to reduce and manage those risks.
- To engage other professionals to ensure a multi-agency approach that enables the adult and/or their carer to live as independently as possible.
- To represent the service and the views of adults and carers at various meetings, exchange information, make decisions, and review progress.
- To build effective relationships with other agencies and the local community to signpost when necessary.
- To identify potential deprivation of liberty and ensure the least restrictive means of care provision before instigating legal proceedings.
- To maintain accurate records according to the Adult Services' Recording Policy.
- To prepare and participate in reflective practice and supervision.
- To meet continuing professional development requirements and stay up-to-date with legislative changes.
- To undertake other duties, training, and hours of work as reasonably required and consistent with the job's general level of responsibility.
- Through meaningful conversations, to carry out and review assessments and support plans for adults and carers to build a good life within their community.
Requirements
- A social work qualification or equivalent.
- This post requires registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England).
