Role Overview:

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join their well-structured and organized team in North Somerset.

This role will involve supporting disabled children, parents, carers, and siblings, as well as carrying out relevant assessments and complex safeguarding risk assessments.

The ideal candidate will have post-qualifying experience working as an Integrated Pathways Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry, be HCPC registered, and have 1-2 years of post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with disabled children
  • Support parents, carers, and siblings of disabled children
  • Carry out relevant assessments
  • Conduct complex safeguarding risk assessments
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Deliver Short Breaks work

Requirements:

  • Post-qualifying experience as an Integrated Pathways Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry
  • HCPC Registration
  • 1-2 years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (can be obtained)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
