Senior Social Worker Role

Foster Care Associates, part of the Polaris Community, is a leading independent fostering agency.
We are seeking an experienced Senior/Supervising Social Worker to support foster parents and their families in achieving outstanding outcomes for children and young people in foster care.
This role involves regular supervision of allocated foster parents, ensuring they provide a safe and healthy environment, and working in partnership with other agencies to identify needs within the foster family.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, comprehensive understanding of legislation and child safeguarding procedures, and excellent communication skills.
Key responsibilities include producing high-standard reports, providing out-of-hours support, participating in day duty systems, and undertaking initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of up to £40,532 per annum (prorated), dependent upon experience, plus a range of benefits including a company car or £2,000 car allowance, 30 days' annual leave, bank holidays, life assurance, employee discount scheme, and medical cash plan.
