Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Adults Locality Social Worker to join our well-structured and organised team in Norfolk County Council. This role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries.
  2. Provide advice to the public, partner agencies, and regulated care providers on safeguarding concerns.
  3. Complete home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports.
  4. Liaise with other professionals.
  5. Ensure knowledge of relevant legislation.
  6. Hold cases.
  7. Work with individuals at risk, and those who have caused harm.
  8. Attend multidisciplinary meetings.
  9. Complete referrals to relevant agencies for support.
Requirements:
  1. Post-qualifying experience as an Adults Locality Social Worker.
  2. HCPC Registration.
  3. Three years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry.
  4. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
  5. Eligibility to work in the UK.
