Scanning Technician

We are expanding our team to add a new Technical Operative to our successful and growing company, Structural Repairs Limited.
Job SummaryYou will join as a skilled Scanning Technician and be given plenty of opportunities to develop your analytical skills and ability to use surveying equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct surveys to establish property boundaries, including measuring distances and angles using specialized equipment
- Prepare proposals, survey reports, maps, and drawings based on collected data
- Analyse survey data to determine land elevations, contours, and other topographical features
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to provide accurate survey information for project planning and design
- Utilize GPS technology and computer-aided design (CAD) software to assist in surveying tasks
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards during survey operations
- Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar role
- Experience in using surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse survey data accurately
- Familiarity with CAD software for drafting and mapping purposes
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements
