Scanning Technician

We are expanding our team to add a new Technical Operative to our successful and growing company, Structural Repairs Limited.
Job SummaryAs a skilled Scanning Technician, you will be part of a small team conducting surveys to establish property boundaries, including measuring distances and angles using specialized equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct surveys to determine property boundaries, topographical features, and other relevant information.
- Prepare proposals, survey reports, maps, and drawings based on collected data.
- Analyse survey data to determine land elevations, contours, and other topographical features.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to provide accurate survey information for project planning and design.
- Utilize GPS technology and computer-aided design (CAD) software to assist in surveying tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards during survey operations.
- Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar role.
- Experience in using surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse survey data accurately.
- Familiarity with CAD software for drafting and mapping purposes.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements.
