Job Title: Fibro Scan Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fibro Scan Technician to join our Paediatric Liver Team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing fibro scans on children and young people with liver disease, as well as maintaining the fibro scan machine and collecting accurate data for audit purposes.

Main Responsibilities
  1. To perform fibro scans on children and young people with liver disease in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. To arrange maintenance of the fibro scan machine and calibration of the probes.
  3. To collect and record accurate data for audit purposes.
Requirements
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in Numeracy and Literacy or GCSEs Maths and English Grades A-C.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Basic IT qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of basic liver pathology.
  • European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL).
