The company's focus is on ensuring the integrity and security of classified environments through proactive security management, assessments, and best practices for network and system security.

The Opportunity

This role focuses on implementing robust security controls for classified information systems, configuring and administering secure networks and systems, conducting routine security assessments and vulnerability scans on classified systems, developing and implementing security policies and procedures specific to classified environments, monitoring security events and incidents within the classified network, supporting accreditation and certification processes for classified systems, and maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations and security controls.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing Robust Security Controls: Develop and maintain effective security measures to safeguard classified information systems.
  • Secure Network Administration: Configure and administer secure networks and systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified data.
  • Routine Security Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans on classified systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Security Policy Development: Create and implement security policies and procedures specific to classified environments to ensure compliance with defence regulations.
  • Incident Response: Monitor security events and incidents within the classified network and respond accordingly to prevent or mitigate potential security breaches.
  • Certification Support: Assist in accreditation and certification processes for classified systems to ensure they meet defence standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and security controls to facilitate auditing and compliance.
