Advanced Physiotherapy Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing highly specialist clinical assessment and opinion for onward management of patients referred with lumbar spine pathology.

The role requires a lead Advanced / Extended Scope Physiotherapy Practitioner who can work independently at an advanced practice level, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills with a specific specialism in spinal pathology.

About You:
  • You must have extensive post-graduate MSK demonstrable experience in back pain.
  • You should have proven evidence of CPD underpinning specialist practice.
  • Proven evidence of leadership is essential.
  • You should be able to lead and deliver training to AHPs / Medical staff.
  • Awareness of current NHS frameworks is required.
