Technical Sales Representative

Job Summary
Syntech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Business Development Specialist to join their team in Southampton. This role involves managing key customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and handling the sales process from quoting to order completion.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will be proactive and forward-thinking, with accurate paperwork and system skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure smooth communication and support throughout the sales process.
- New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the aerospace or technical manufacturing industry.
- Quoting & Estimating: Provide cost estimates to customers and handle inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Order Management: Enter and manage sales and works orders in the system.
- Reporting & Updates: Provide regular reports to the Managing Director on sales performance and customer updates.
Requirements
- Proactive and forward-thinking with strong communication and time-management skills.
- Accurate with paperwork and systems.
- Experience in aerospace or technical manufacturing (preferred).
