Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Team Manager to lead our team in providing a shopping experience that is distinctively Waitrose. As a premium grocer, we value our customers and Partners (employees) equally, and our service and passion for quality, tasty food that is sustainably produced sets us apart.
The successful candidate will be responsible for influencing, motivating and guiding their team to achieve our shared goal of providing an exceptional shopping experience. This includes exemplary shop keeping and people management skills, as well as being a positive role model for delivering outstanding Partner-led, customer service.
The ideal candidate will have experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and will be able to empower Partners to act with authority and accountability. They will also be able to cultivate a supportive culture of care, belonging, pace and productivity.
As a leader, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and profit, customer satisfaction and minimizing wastage. You will also be required to oversee the day-to-day operation of the shop, using your commercial skills to drive results.
