Academic Administrator Professional

An experienced Office Administrator is required to join the team of a leading food manufacturer.
This role involves ensuring tasks relating to sales order processing, stock management, and credit control are completed. The ideal candidate will have experience with credit control, as this role combines administration and financial duties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general administrative tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the business, as well as supporting the Supply Chain Manager and the Accounts Controller.
Main Responsibilities:- Sales order processing and receipting of purchase orders.
- Liaising daily with the warehouse team to ensure stock availability for production and recording of daily goods in and out.
- Liaising with customers on orders and deliveries, preparing paperwork, and using customer and online portals for managing orders.
- Preparing and recording daily paperwork for the production department and organising dispatching samples for customers.
- Processing customer invoices, sending statements, and communicating with customers to arrange payments.
- Processing payments, maintaining up-to-date customer records on Sage, and monitoring credit accounts to ensure timely payments within agreed terms.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Experience of Sage is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload efficiently.
- A competitive salary of £28,000 per annum.
- Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00, 37.5 hours per week.
- 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays and pension scheme.
- On-site parking available.
