Administrative Support Coordinator

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to provide effective and efficient support for our Primary Care Dental Service. As a Clinic Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in promoting a professional and positive working environment for patients attending our dental community departments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing management of waiting lists, organisation of clinics and patient appointments, and daily tasks associated with the daily management of an outpatient setting and reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage waiting lists and organise clinics and patient appointments
- Provide administrative support for the department
- Contribute to maintaining a professional and positive working environment
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths
- Business and Admin level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience
- Extensive clerical / reception experience in a healthcare / public setting
- Experience of handling cash and banking
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively and be sensitive to patient needs
- Understand the importance of patient confidentiality
- Ability to adjust to change and motivate others
- Computer literacy, keyboard skills and Microsoft packages
