We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Children's Community Autism Practitioner to join our team at VSA LLC. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to adults with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children/adults with autism, complex needs, and behavioural challenges. They will be confident in working alongside service users and as part of a staff team. Full training and support will be provided.

This is a 39-hour per week position, with a competitive salary of £12.20 p.h (unqualified) up to £13.32 p.h (qualified). The role involves working on a rolling rota, including early, late shifts, and weekend working.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop effective communication strategies for complex issues and support service users accordingly.
  • Promote health, safety, and security while minimizing risks.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in administrative tasks.

Key Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with challenging behaviour.
  • Basic I.T. skills.
