About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nighttime Support/Care Worker to join our Queen Mother House team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the best possible care for our residents with ongoing and enduring mental health conditions.

The successful candidate will be required to work on a part-time, permanent basis, supporting our residents during nighttime hours. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £12.20 per hour, along with access to a range of benefits including a company pension, employee assistance programme, generous annual leave, and opportunities for personal development and career growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing a safe and protective environment throughout the night, adhering to health, safety, and security procedures.
  • Supporting residents with their nighttime routine, including personal care where necessary.
  • Communicating effectively with day shift staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participating in the compilation and implementation of personal care plans.

We are seeking an individual with experience of working night shifts, preferably within a care environment, and some exposure to lone working. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a patient and empathetic nature, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
