Perioperative Care Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced registered practitioner to join our theatre team as a Perioperative Care Practitioner.
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical knowledge in Anaesthetic Scrub and Recovery, and will be responsible for providing high standards of peri-operative care to patients.
The role involves working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the theatre team to ensure the smooth running of operations, and will require the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare all necessary equipment for surgery, including surgical instruments, equipment, and swabs.
- Carry out safety checks before each procedure to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Anticipate the requirements of the surgical team and respond effectively to ensure the best patient experience.
- Monitor patients on arrival to the recovery area and provide appropriate treatment until they have recovered from the effects of the anaesthesia and/or surgery.
What We Offer:
