About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SENCO to join our team at Wayman Education. As a SENCO, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out normal Primary SENCO duties, including sorting through EHCPs and conducting 1:1 assessments of students.
  • Assisting with the administrative side of the role, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to teachers and staff on SEN-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Qualified primary teacher with a SENCO qualification or a strong desire to gain one.
  • Extensive experience working with Special Educational Needs, with a deep understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and Primary Curriculum.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to lead by example.
