Job Opportunity for a Lower KS2 Teacher

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lower KS2 teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Key Stage 1 lessons, implementing the Primary Curriculum effectively, and utilizing Phonics to support early literacy development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of Key Stage 1 students
  • Implement the Primary Curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging educational experience
  • Utilize Phonics, including Little Wandle Phonics, to support early literacy development and improve student outcomes
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and promote a culture of excellence

Requirements:

  • PGCE qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Department for Education (DFE) recognition
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Key Stage 1 students
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and Phonics instruction
  • Effective classroom management skills and excellent communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in Phonics instruction
  • Experience working in a 2 Form Entry School

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
