Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Laundry Manager to join our team at Royal Caribbean Group. As a key member of our facilities service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our laundry facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily laundry operations, including washing, ironing, dry cleaning, and storing of all linen products.
  • Coordinate with executive housekeepers to repair equipment in a timely manner and ensure that all equipment is fully operational at all times.
  • Inspect dryers daily to ensure they are free of lint and operating within the correct temperature range.
  • Submit a copy of daily inspection report sheets to executive housekeepers and first engineers.
  • Ensure proper sorting of linen before it reaches the laundry facility, with items free of garbage and sorted by color.
  • Check finished products at the end of each cycle to ensure desired results are achieved and enforce quality controls at each stage.
Requirements
  • High school or equivalent required; minimum three years of related experience and/or training in the laundry field.
  • Ability to read and interpret English language documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, using hands to handle objects, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Estimated Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
