Multilingual Communication Specialist

Language Empire is seeking a skilled Freelance Interpreter Translator to join our team. Based in Norwich, Norfolk, this role offers flexible hours and competitive rates.
We provide professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK. With over 20 years of experience, we cover hundreds of languages and dialects.
This self-employed position requires fluent English language skills and proficiency in another language. You will interpret for individuals using legal, health, and local government services, ensuring accurate communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpreting for various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations
- Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Liaising between service users and providers, ensuring effective communication
Requirements:
- Fluent English and another language
- Aged 21 or over
- Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
