About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraiser to join our small team at St Joseph's Hospice. As a Fundraiser, you will play a key role in developing and implementing our fundraising strategy, working closely with our team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including corporate, community, and events fundraising
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, community groups, and events sponsors
  • Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, including grants, donations, and legacy giving
  • Manage and coordinate fundraising events, including planning, promotion, and execution
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our donors and their giving patterns, to inform our fundraising strategy
  • Work closely with our team to achieve our fundraising goals, including setting targets and tracking progress

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a generalist fundraising role, with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong numeracy and planning skills, with the ability to manage budgets and track finances
  • Flair for social media, with the ability to create engaging content and build online communities
  • Ability to motivate and lead volunteers, with a strong understanding of volunteer management
  • Driving license and access to a car, for travel to events and meetings
