A passionate and experienced fundraising professional is sought to join the Individual Giving and Legacy Team at LCVS (Liverpool Charity & Voluntary Services). The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and administering the charity's individual giving and legacy portfolio, working closely with the Individual Giving Manager to shape and implement their strategy for growth and supporter engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in fundraising and legacy development, with a deep understanding of the principles and practices of individual giving and legacy fundraising. They will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, and contribute to the growth and success of the charity.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced fundraising professional to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, and to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and families supported by the charity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective individual giving and legacy fundraising strategies to grow the charity's supporter base and increase income.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, including major donors, legacy donors, and regular givers.
- Develop and implement effective stewardship and engagement plans to retain and grow existing donors.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the charity's overall fundraising strategy, working closely with the Individual Giving Manager and other members of the fundraising team.
- Provide excellent supporter care and ensure that all interactions with donors are professional, friendly, and effective.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in individual giving and legacy fundraising, with a strong track record of success.
- Deep understanding of the principles and practices of individual giving and legacy fundraising.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
