Job Summary

Causeway Charity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our fundraising and business development efforts. As our Strategic Fundraising and Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for implementing an effective fundraising strategy aligned to our organisational objectives and building strong partnerships with stakeholders.

You will need to be driven by a passion to see lives changed and help generate income to support our valuable work. We are looking for someone with high-level demonstrable experience in business development, major contract tenders, bid writing, and building corporate partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that applies the right balance of fundraising mechanisms to achieve our organisational objectives.
  • Work with the Chief Operating Officer and relevant Head of Service to identify and secure contractual funding opportunities.
  • Develop and write tender bids to support us to secure new contracts.
  • Manage the operational activities of the fundraising team, ensuring the workload of the department is effectively delivered to a high-quality standard.
  • Oversee the development of Life Supply, ensuring it continues to evolve and meet the needs of the survivors we support.
  • Play an instrumental role as part of the Senior Management Team in ensuring the charity's 3-year strategic objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • High-level demonstrable experience in business development, major contract tenders, bid writing, and building corporate partnerships.
  • Proven track record of securing new contracts and developing effective fundraising strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
