Supporting Young Learners Specialist

About the Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our client school in Northampton. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working with students with special educational needs and be passionate about delivering high-quality support and guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Implement tailored support plans for students with varying needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement IEPs and behaviour management strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social interaction and engagement among students.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to teachers and parents.
Requirements: A minimum of two years of experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist setting, or equivalent experience in care or as a support worker. Experience working with autistic learners is preferred but not essential.
