Quality Assurance Director Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Director to join our Michael Page team in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety across our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead a team of quality professionals in maintaining high-quality products and adhering to customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and address quality-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control processes, including HACCP and VACCP protocols.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of quality team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar quality management role within a chilled food manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering continuous improvement in technical, quality, and food safety standards.
  • Recognised qualification in a relevant field, such as Food Science.
  • Level 3 HACCP & Food Safety certification.
