Michael Page is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their successful business in Tamworth, UK. This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.

">Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a recognised qualification in Food Science and experience working in a chilled food manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring the food safety, quality, and legality of all products.
  2. Updating and maintaining the Quality Assurance and Food Safety Management Systems on site.
  3. Ownership of the HACCP team, HACCP manual, and running of HACCP team meetings.
  4. Ownership of the VACCP and TACCP team, manual, and protocols.
  5. Overseeing NPD work and paperwork from a technical/quality viewpoint.
  6. Ensuring all aspects of the technical management of the site are being met.
  7. Originating and delivering regular quality meetings on site, ensuring traceability is being achieved for all factory products.
  8. Ensuring efficient procedures are in place and trained out in order for a consistent quality product.
