Business Development Manager, French Speaker, Amazon Freight Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Amazon Freight team. As a key member of our Commercial Development team, you will be responsible for recruiting European Shippers to our service, owning and growing Shipper engagements, and ensuring a great Shipper experience.

The successful candidate will be results-driven, highly analytical, Customer Obsessed, and ready to roll up their sleeves to grow this business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruiting new potential customers to use our products and services
  2. Identify new segments and unlock new customer base with best-in-class service.
  3. Maintain a high level of engagement from our Customer and proactively identify the challenges they are facing.
  4. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the portfolio.
  5. Be the voice of the customer (Shipper) to guide product development and iterations.
  6. Identify and lead new projects or initiatives to solve customer pain points and improve shipper experience.

About the Team:

Amazon Freight is a B2B start-up within Amazon Transportation Services in Europe. Our innovative technology-driven solution for the logistics needs of small and large businesses is scaling rapidly as an offering.

This role sits within the Business Development team, part of Amazon Freight Commercial team. Focusing on new customer acquisition in the UK market, our Business Developer is expected to attract new businesses, tailor our product to customers' needs and close business deals with needle-moving shippers for Amazon Freight.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience in business development, partner development, sales or alliances management
- Proficient in French and English speaking, reading and writing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services
