About the Role

Job Title: General Manager

Reports to: Managing Director

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of travel sales advisors, focusing on performance targets and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the senior leadership team, driving business growth and success.

Customer Focus

  • Ensure exceptional customer service by showcasing a natural flair for customer centricity.
  • Develop customer-centric solutions, aligning with business targets.

Support and Development

  • Support the Managing Director in people and customer management areas.
  • Deputise for the Managing Director as needed.

Team Enhancement

  • Inspire and mentor travel sales advisors to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Coach and develop advisors to achieve their potential.
  • Plan and manage resources efficiently, including work rotas.

Process Improvement

  • Analyse processes, systems, and customer journeys to recommend changes.
  • Introduce improvements to streamline performance.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of customers and products through analysis.
  • Provide input to business target setting and recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare accurate management information reports and forecasts.

Relationship Building

  • Build and nurture relationships with colleagues, customers, and business partners.

Technology and Process

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes using technology.
  • Participate in the 24/7 duty office rota to support customers.
