Production Operative Role
About the Job
Marshalls, a leading supplier of high-quality bricks, is seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing concrete products using various operational techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate powered hand tools, machinery, and mechanical handling equipment to complete production tasks.
- Work collaboratively with a team of production operatives to achieve production targets.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
- Participate in quality control processes to ensure high-quality products.
Working Conditions
As a Production Operative, you will work a standard 42-hour week, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays. Shift patterns include 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, with overtime available.
Requirements
- Experience in a small/medium manufacturing operation.
- Desirable: FLT (Forklift Truck) operation skills.
- Strong team player with a good working attitude.
- Good level of English.
- A forward-thinking individual with a focus on process improvement.
